In 2005, Knight made a decisive move into the landscaping industry, founding his first business to create a service that could provide quality and value to clients. Despite the challenges of starting a business with limited resources, his hard work, strategic thinking, and customer-first approach allowed his company to grow quickly. His focus on offering exceptional landscaping services for residential and commercial clients set his business apart from competitors and allowed it to expand across multiple states.

Robert’s first landscaping company became successful through dedication and a clear focus on customer satisfaction. Over time, his business grew into one of the top 100 landscaping companies in the nation. His ability to manage challenges, capitalize on opportunities, and understand the market dynamics led to the company’s eventual sale for a significant profit, marking a key milestone in his entrepreneurial journey. Along with his landscaping business partners, Knight has an aggressive 10-year plan to expand his current business.

Founding GreenEarth Landscaping

After selling his first business, Knight turned his attention to a new venture—GreenEarth Landscaping Company. This company was founded with a commitment to offering premium landscaping services that focused on sustainability and innovation. GreenEarth provides various services, including lawn and turf care, shrub maintenance, landscape lighting, and design/build solutions. His vision was to create a company that delivered high-quality results and focused on creating lasting customer relationships.

GreenEarth’s growth was accelerated through its franchise model, allowing it to expand quickly into multiple locations nationwide. Today, GreenEarth Landscaping generates an impressive $30 million annually and operates in various states with four branches. Robert’s dedication to building a company rooted in sustainable practices and innovative solutions made GreenEarth a leader in the landscaping industry, setting it apart from larger competitors.
